Kids Summer Snack Program
Thanks to a generous grant from the City of Liberty Hill, OLH is once again offering snack bags that include fresh fruits and veggies.
Children/Students who:
-
attend school in Liberty Hill ISD, Bertram & Briggs
-
Are 3-18 years old
-
Are eligible to participate in the free or reduced lunch program​ OR are a current client of our food pantry
can receive one bag of healthy snacks per child each week from May 30, 2023 through August 15, 2023, during regular Food Pantry distribution hours Tuesdays 9:00-4:45 & Thursdays 12:00-5:45.
LHISD does not have a summer feeding program, so many of our community's children go hungry. Summer snack bags go a long way to alleviate those hunger pangs. Below is a list of the food items we're looking for as donations.
Volunteers are needed throughout the summer to pack snack bags, and this is an excellent opportunity for families looking to serve.
