    Acerca de Food Pantry By partnering with the Central Texas Food Bank (CTFB), and our community with food drives and donations, we're able to offer our clients a variety of fresh produce, meat and non-perishable items. We are so grateful to the churches, schools, businesses, and individuals for their generous assistance with food drives and donations, and your continuing financial support. A Spanish-speaking volunteer is scheduled on Tuesday mornings. To be eligible, one must live in our service area of Liberty Hill ISD, Leander, Bertram, and Briggs. Operation Liberty Hill is an equal opportunity provider. Food Distribution To become a Client, please come to the Food Pantry on a Tuesday or Thursday during pantry hours and let one of our volunteers know you are there to enroll. ​ Clients are eligible to visit our pantry once a week plus Food Share Fridays. Tuesdays 9:00 - 4:45 Thursdays 12:00 - 5:45 Food Share Friday is open to the public from 12:00 - 1:00 or until the food is gone. A 7-week digital skills course that will cover a range of topics, to include: ~Understanding your computer ~Building good digital habits​ ~Creating & safeguarding passwords ~Evaluating online resources ~Social media & digital footprints ~Digital communication ~Protecting yourself online ~Google Workspace: Gmail & Google Meet ~And more ​ Equipment, instruction, programs and applications are included.     Meet Our Team Susan Baker Executive Director After retiring from the City of Austin, in 2010 Susan began volunteering on a monthly basis with the Liberty Hill Community Food Bank. The need outgrew the organization. So, Susan, along with 3 other volunteers, founded Operation Liberty Hill in 2012. She continues to passionately serve our community and lead OLH Every. Single. She came home to roost in 2020 - and no one said that year would be fun. With a new master's, the Lord led Regina to OLH.     Hotels for the Homeless OLH serves many of our community's homeless population with food and clothing on a weekly basis. In extreme weather, we've occasionally housed them as well. With this heat, we need your help to alleviate their suffering. Will you please consider donating a night (or 2)?     Acerca de Thrift Store Volunteers and donations fuel our Thrift Store. Proceeds from the Thrift Store buys food for the Pantry, helps to cover financial assistance given, and funds some of the Center's operational expenses.
