  • Blessing Bags | OperationLibertyHill

Liberty Hill ISD does has not have a summer feeding program. As such, since 2012, we had the Kids Summer Snack Bag Program. In fall 2025, we expanded it to a year-round program and changed the name to Blessing Bags. We partnered with the LHISD to get Blessing Bags to school counselors, who distribute them to the students in their school who face food insecurity. The students receive double the amount for during school breaks. The bags will be distributed via our Food Pantry during the summer. Blessing Bags Program For 13 years, OLH had the Kids Summer Snack Bags program. In fall of 2025, we partnered with Liberty Hill ISD to get 3 meals and 8-10 snacks every week into the hands of the students that were going hungry. We changed the name to Blessing Bags. Each week 100+ students are getting the food they so urgently need through their school counselors. How to Support This Program: Volunteer: Volunteers are needed to pack the Blessing Bags, and this is an excellent opportunity for families looking for ways to serve together.
